Palm Trees on the Seafront at Los Cristianos
By Car

As you leave the airport, follow the signs for Los Cristianos until you are on the TF-1 Motorway. From there, follow the motorway for about 13 kilometers and then take the exit marked “Los Cristianos” – be aware that there are two exits in quick succession – take the second one marked “TF-665 Los Cristianos”. From there, just follow the road into Los Cristianos.

By Bus

There are four public bus routes that connect Tenerife South Airport with Los Cristianos, though route 40 is the most frequent (every half hour during the day). At night, the number 711 bus connects Santa Cruz with Costa Adeje and stops at both Tenerife South Airport and Costa Adeje on the way. Both the 711 and 343 routes also stop at Tenerife South Airport and Los Cristianos. The journey takes about 35 minutes and costs €3.20. More information and timetables can be found at the public bus website here.

By Taxi

It costs roughly €26 – €28 for a taxi from Tenerife South to Los Cristianos and the journey time is around 20 minutes. There isn’t normally a long wait at the airport taxi rank.

By Airport Transfer

A pre-booked airport shuttle transfer costs €5.23 (daytime price updated November 2022) and will bring you to your hotel! A private transfer for up to 4 passengers costs as little as €41.83. Larger groups can also be catered to with people-carriers and mini-buses. Click here for more information or to book.

Is it possible to book a taxi for five people in advance? (I don’t want to pay 60 or 70 euros, which is what I am offered online!)

Private transfers seem very expensive at the moment – no doubt because of the record high fuel costs.

Do the buses run from tfs to los Cristianos on Sunday evenings

The prices quoted on Shuttle Spain for airport transfer start at 90 euros for four people, not 21. The public bus is certainly cheaper.

Hi, Thanks for the update – I have now updated the prices, though I am seeing €41 for a private transfer for 4, and not €90.

Hi, how to go to TFS (the south airport in Tenerife) from the port, Los Cristianos, Santa Cruz de Tenerife?

    • administrator

Hi, To get the Airport from Los Cristianos port, you will have to walk to the Los Cristianos Bus Station (Estación de Guaguas), which is about 1km. From there, get the 40, 711 or 343 to the Airport.

    Hi there,
There are 6 in total in our group (4 adults and 2 children (3 year old and 1 year old)) Is it possible to get a 6 ppl taxi from the rank that will have a child seat?
    Thank you.

Hi, It might be possible, but I would definitely book ahead. Most Taxis do not have 6 seats, so there may be a long wait. You can a private transfer with a child seat using the following link:

    Hi,

I was just wondering are the buses from the South airport to Los Cristianos more like coaches? In other words is there somewhere to put your cases as we don’t want to go on a standard bus with two big cases and hand luggage if the bus is full.

    Cheers,

    Andy.

Hi, As far as I know, the buses to and from the airport all have a luggage hold (maletero), however there is no guarantee that this won’t fill up.

    • administrator

Hi, There is a taxi rank directly in front of where the buses park, so you shouldn’t have any issues.

Hi, From what I can see, that villa is opposite the Castle Harbour Hotel, so you could book the transfer to there.
